Tseytlin discusses string/gauge duality in Science Watch
Arkady Tseytlin, professor of physics, was featured in a two-page question and answer interview in the January/February edition of Science Watch. Tseytlin was interviewed about his research on the very specific duality proposed by Harvards Juan Maldacena, who posited that certain string theory is equivalent to a kind of gauge theory not unlike those that describe aspects of the universe in which we live. Tseytlin is among the leaders of the latest string-theory revolution. His June 2002 article in Physical Review D, Exactly solvable model of superstring in plane wave Ramond-Ramond background, co-authored with Ruslan R. Metsaev, has been cited more than 200 times.
